Our Service
Cotton Bottoms Diaper Service will provide you with:
- An unlimited supply of fitted cloth diapers;
- Weekly delivery of diapers to your door
- A low weekly rate
The service is simple.
The night before your delivery day, place your soiled diapers on your front porch (or a predetermined place) in the reusable bag we provide. We will be by the following morning and will leave a bag of clean, fresh diapers in its place. Place the clean diapers in a basket and line your pail with the bag and we are set for another week.
There will be a tag on your liner bag that we ask you to fill out each week with the number of clean diapers you have left. This will ensure that we are able to keep an accurate count of our inventory.
When your baby is primarily breast-fed and/or formula-fed you will just remove the diaper and place it in the pail no need for soaking. Once your baby begins to eat solids then you must flush solid waste down the toilet. This is to help keep our diapers free from stains and ensure a longer life therefore not contributing to landfill prematurely.
What you’ll need:
Diapers, soakers (overnight liners for extra absorbancy) and pail liners are included in the weekly cost.
You will be required to pay a refundable deposit for the pail. When you are ready to cancel the service you will have the option of keeping the pail at no extra cost or returning it to us (we will reuse it) and we will issue a refund of your deposit.
As with all diaper services you will be required to purchase and launder the waterproof covers. We cannot launder them as they may become damaged in our process and would wear out much too soon. The covers are available for purchase from us and we will have a variety to choose from. We recommend you have at least 5 covers. One cover can be used multiple times before it needs to be washed; unless of course it is soiled (I use 1 cover per day). We will also have covers available to rent by the week for an additional cost. These covers will still be your responsibility to launder at home. If you are not interested in purchasing covers we will have rentals available for an additional cost.
If you are interested in signing-up for our service you are welcome to call us or register online. We will ask that you give us a few weeks’ notice before your new arrival is expected to come and we will visit you at home to go over the diapers and service and leave you your start-up kit.
Start-up kits include:
- First week’s worth of diapers and soakers;
- Covers of your choice;
- Diaper Pail with odour control carbon insert and
- Pail liner.
We do require that your first months service is paid in full (this is non-refundable)
You will begin to pay for your service when your baby has arrived. We ask that you call us at that time and we will activate your service.
Holidays – We require at least 2 weeks’ notice of an interruption of service at which time we can arrange an alternative or pause your service until your return.
There will be 2 weeks of every year that Cotton Bottoms will be closed there will be 2 weeks’ notice of this and we will provide you with an alternative to our diapers. This alternative will be a biodegradable diaper manufactured without the harmful chemicals of traditional disposables. There will be no extra charge for this and they will be delivered to your door as always.
